The hardest part about living in Pendleton has been the lack of music teachers, followed by the lack of a good education. I have moved all of the kids into harder classes and will have to be vigilant about helping them grow in their knowledge. I still haven't found a piano teacher, which will become desperate as I have had Kami and Caden teaching them this year and Caden will be leaving soon.
For Isabelle's violin lessons, I drive her an hour away to LaGrande and have my sister Ivy teach her. Ivy is AMAZING on the violin and she couldn't have a better teacher. But it's not always easy or convenient to get there...
It is nice to see my sister once a week though!
