My siblings and I debated about whether or not mom and dad would want a 50th anniversary celebration, and finally decided that they would enjoy one celebrated with family. Ivy headed it all up with invitations and plans for the night. I helped her decorate and Heidi headed up the food, giving us assignments for what we could bring. It was a really great, memorable evening! Isabelle made the cake for the event, but couldn't attend herself because she was in Seaside for a Cross Country event. Tia's song that she wrote was the biggest highlight, I would have to say, along with some songs that were sung that dad wrote about mom or that he and mom always sing together.
