We celebrated Caden's 20th birthday on August 12, with another amazing cake made by Isabelle.

The kids (mostly Nolan) were asking to go to the temple, so we decided to make it a family affair. I thought of our friends Amanda and Justin Robinson and decided to invite them along. They have crazy work schedules that seldom match up with each other, let alone with us. Justin was baptized a year ago and wanted to do baptisms before being sealed. Miraculously, their schedules worked and we all went together. I stayed outside with these three:
There were a lot of people there that day and it was hours before everyone came out, but Justin was really excited about the experience.
We all went to Costa Vida for lunch afterwards, and Kami joined us because her shift as an officiator had just ended. What a perfect day.
While Kami was still home, I asked her to teach an art lesson at Young Women's one week. It was so much fun!:
