The garage door was partially up one day as we worked in the yard and I went in to grab some clippers as Anni and Maddie drew with sidewalk chalk in the driveway. Anni heard me and said, “dad? Dad?” I answered and said, “it’s mom”. Maddie said she made an embarrassed face at her and whispered, “I thought that was dad, but personally it was mom!”
Anni to Maddie: “You have WEIRD hair! ....but so does dad and Caden” (All the people with curly hair)
Shawn came upstairs one Friday night all dressed up for a date. Anni said, “you look really good! You look like a human!”
With the coming of spring Anni has been wanting to get outside and “pet one of the Little Red ROBIN Hoods.” She said, “and it would be great if they don’t beak us....”
We are enjoying this feisty, smart, independent little character!
